Julia Cooper is a non-union New York-based curve model and actress. Since moving to New York in 2018, Julia has trained at the T. Schreiber Studio, taking a variety of on camera intensives as well as voiceover training with Jeffrey Dreisbach, and commercial intensives with Brooke and Mary. She is currently freelancing with Citizen Talent and Dancho Models. 

Julia began modeling in 2018, starting off her career as a Brand Ambassador for the underwear company Parade. She has modeled for lingerie companies such as Uye Surana and Voluptas Rose, and was a premier model for the Who You Are Boudoir studio. She has also done print work for Planned Parenthood and Johnson & Johnson. 

Julia’s acting experience expands across a variety of mediums, having roles in commercials, promos, short films, web-series, and live television, as well as musical and straight theatrical productions. Julia also works as a standardized patient, taking on the role of a real patient with a given set of medical conditions to simulate a clinical learning environment for medical students. This job has given her the training to stay in the moment as each character, and focus on listening as she then has to evaluate the students on their performance.  

While acting and modeling are Julia’s main focus, she is also passionate about working with animals; her speciality being piglets. Julia has a ton of experience working as a pig handler, bringing piglets to parties and events, hosting parties and teaching groups how to feed and hold the piglets. She has also facilitated photoshoots with piglets, and has experience training pigs of her own.
